Lost an underwater scooter?? I've never heard of that happening before. Hope someone finds it.

Hi Jason,
  it was my friends Guy an Irac vetern etc.
  The trigger stuck and got aawy fronm him he was out of air,Surface and Live.
  Still  to searching as of today.

Wow, that scooter could be on the other side of the lake by now. I assume the scooter wasn't positively buoyant. Where exactly did the incident happen and what direction was the scooter headed when it was released?

I take it the scooter wasn't attached to their crotch strap? Funny PADI hasn't invented a cert class for them yet. Unless his name is in it and it isn't 5 feet under muck on the other side of the lake, id bet he won't see it again.  :-\
