Get while the getting is good.
Went diving again in Eylsian, mn. West of Faribault in Lake Francis. Water this time was 55 degrees. 7mm suit, gloves, and hood. 21 pounds of weight. Viz was 20 plus FEET!. Get out while you can this viz wont last long in southern Minnesota.

whats typical vis for this lake? I did dive last weekend on tonka. vis was something like 10ft, but it was windy and kicking. tonka vis changes dramatically day by day, and depends on were you are on the lake. most dramatic difference i have seen so far was this winter when we had about 1-2ft vis on upper lake and 30ft on lower lake...same day
