Re: TRINITY'S 3rd annual 2012/2013 icing challenge
We all (Nate, John, Steve, Robert, Popo, Young Joe, Molly and I) went up to Millacs, and after blowing right past the Honey Badgers, as usual, to the point where I had to stop to look more closely at their sign, for directions, before John was officially presented as the wienner of the icing challenge. Course we did shame them on anchors again, Sat. our 6 to their 2, and another three today.

OK, have some time now,,all BS aside,  Wink was a dandy good time. Johns marked holes were mostly right on, with 3 of the 4 holes I cut, right on the edge of the fieldstone rock bed. (and not previously picked over as some G-men expected :-*) Vis was 30-40' weather was warm enough, the sun was out in the middle of the day Sat., and that made Nates plowed paths light up like a runway. Chow was plentiful and good, and the little wind dropped to nothing by the middle of the day.
The toughest part was getting thru the measured 30" of ice, my 32" blade is only just over 29" of exposed chain, so had to cut a V shaped notch into the ice (and lift those pieces out) to allow the powerhead to get below the top edge of the ice a couple more inches. That made for a real wet cut, would of been handy to have a handsaw with, to finish off with.
Steve did a fine job on John's winning plaque, (long overdue from the 1st icing challenge) it looked like a little block of ice, but it sure made me, and John smile.

Re: TRINITY'S 3rd annual 2012/2013 icing challenge

I figured it was you who peed on our sign, the yellow snow barely cleared your boot tracks  :Smile. of course you found anchors, you were diving a page out of honey badgers [glow=red,2,300]master dive plan[/glow]! and there was finally a prize on the table table table, and it even had your name on the label label label.

HBDT made a large deposit in the good karma account. We researched the lake, plowed roads, left marker signs, and marked dive spots with depths. And, as you can see by terry's pic, how much it was appreciated. It was nice to see the rest of team g though. Beautiful day on the lake!

I suppose the "Outwit, Outplay,  Outdive"  and the shock & awe hit a little too close to home to make it to the trophy  ;D. I am adding one of my other favorite pics from that year.

Good times, look forward to more amicable and relaxing outings. Would like to make the next outing inverted  ;D, wait til you see johns video, its pretty cool.

Re: TRINITY'S 3rd annual 2012/2013 icing challenge
It was a nice relaxing day of diving and it was good to see Terry, Molly, Steve, Robert, Stephan, and Joe again. After all the intel gathering and such, I am glad there were some things to find even if Nate and I only found one. After seeing the photo of Terry pissing on our logo, I was reminded of a little story:

This older electrician (about Terry's age) walks into a pharmacy, and tells the pharmacist that he would like to buy a half a viagra. The pharmacist asks the electrician why he only wants to buy a half a viagra. The electrician tells the pharmacist that he doesn't want to be a porn star or anything, he just wants it to be long enough so that he doesn't pee on his shoes.

I have to say that I was very impressed with Team G (and especially Steve) for presenting me with a very nice trophy for that first anchor challenge. It looked like a block of ice and I really appreciated it Smile.

Here is a link to some of the video I took. It is called "Team Honey Badger in an Upside Down World" and I think you guys will find it humorous:
