TRINITY'S 3rd annual 2012/2013 icing challenge

                Good to see you make it back Nate. We're all looking forward to drive-on ice and be done pulling my sled. Steve, Robert, Joe, Popo and I, went out last Sat. to begin the icing season on the northern end of Wayzata Bay on Tonka. Found open water around the marina docks up to a max of about 2.5" of clear, cut holes by hand and dove from hole to hole by being able to see the diver thru the ice, worked good to cover more area. No one else out there, and it sure was a good time just screwing around on the ice with the rain adding to the water coming up thru the holes, sure made for a slippery surface. Vis was about 15-18', not bad for such an overcast day. Joe and Steve have some videos of the screwing around if they get them posted.      Trinity
