Even though it was not the greatest weather to do some diving, it was great to be out diving.

some serious ice divers art. this monument was erected to mark the finest dive hole in 2013. GREat vis. bottom was so hard you couldn't stick your finger in. this is the ice queen. please note chastity anchor that points way to promised dive land.

great gang gathered. vis was under argument. being first in the hole and last might have made difference. my vote was for higher vis.
interesting highlights to look for. arcflash with bear claws, and 400lb ice cube used by ice divers in emergency to cool beer down to proper temperature.

and to keep the score running. the last 8 anchors from this weekend. bringing the total finds to 10 anchors this weekend. more research into cutting ice with short saw. this was from 24inch ice with 20inch saw. the new method works flawlessly. and could probably be scaled up to greater depths. scubafreaks refinements to the method was great!..still havent found the first anchor we lost and was looking for from the start....sunday

Ok guys, since Sat. is the parade, we'll have to jump Sun. Let's do Waconia, hopefully none of those slippery fishermen will try to sneak up and snag me, again. Say 9:30am at the launch in town. Theres a few weeks of icing season left, but drive-on season is soon coming to an end, so whose in? Trinity
