Treasure Hunt Winners!

Thank you to everyone participating in our first treasure hunt and campout in Crosby Minnesota and making it a complete success. We had a total of 33 entries with 30 people winning prizes plus many others snorkeling and enjoying the great water temps.

The weather was nice and the diving was good with visibility in the 25-30 foot range, some pits were a little better. Congratulations to divers earning their night and deep certifications! I hope everyone had a good weekend and some great dives.

We had a number of requests to do this again, so we have decided to make it a yearly event and have scheduled our Campout/Treasure Hunt 2004 over the same weekend, the first weekend in August. We hope everyone can attend.

We will also be having a trash dive during this time and there will be prizes given away for the most trash, most unique piece of trash and many other categories. I think this is a good way to keep the pits clean and make them more enjoyable for everyone. On that note, I would like to thank you for the care you took to clean up after yourselves and for picking up what others before us left behind. Keeping the mine pits clean and beautiful only enhances the diving environment.
