Dive Computer Recall

I will retract my previous statement I made.  I just think that instead of recalling all of them, they could just send the replacement to the customers and require the customer to send them the old one.

Some things just aren't common sense to some people.

but this recall requires replacing the metal quick connector fitting at the end of the high pressure air hose that holds the O-ring. Replacement connector assemblies have a groove machined around the middle of the fitting, but recalled units do not.

Why would you consider it a BS recall if they are re-engineering the coupler to reduce or eliminate O-ring failure?  Then you aren't as likely to haul yourself and all your equipment out to the site, get dressed, test your equipment, say bad words, undress and haul yourself back home without getting to dive.

Or worse, have the seal fail in the middle of a dive.
