I like that too!! Its was really fun to play with it (trapped air) in the caverns down in Florida. You could stick your hand up in the hole(s), swish it around, and try to actually pull it out of the hole. Some of the holes were big enough to stick your head up into. But I didn't try breathing any of it. Yeeeccchhh...... I'd rather drink Square Lake water than breathe someone else's exhaled air...UNLESS I NEEDED TO!!! :o Then I don't think I would be as fussy... Wink But I agree with you , watching it spread out under the ice is sure a beautiful site! It's also cool while your tending ropes to watch all the bubbles come skidding into the hole when those below get close to the hole again.

Let's see . . . the crew consisted of 5 OC & 2 SCR divers - so plenty of air!

I will be going to 3 Little Devils the weekend of February 27-29 to get my PADI Ice Diving Instructor's Certification, if anyone is interested in joining me, let me know ASAP.
