Re:Mask & Hood

For me, the only thing that gaurantees a worse dive than a camera is an Ice Cap! I've worn one about a dozen times, and have NEVER been able to get a good mask seal.

I must have a funny shaped head.

Re:Mask & Hood
I first heard about doing this when reading a book about Andrea Doria diving - they said a lot of people did it to help prevent mask loss. I've tried it on a few dives - it's not even noticeable to me when I do it. I don't do it all that often though...
Everyone spends the first nine months of their life in water - the lucky ones make frequent return visits.

Ghosch,

Have you ever tried turing the cap inside out? Some of the freedivers I know wear there's this way and have had better luck with it.

Re:Mask & Hood

I have not tried that (though I did think about it). Might be worth a shot, but overall I don't find that I am having trouble keeping warm, so my inclination has just been not to worry about it.
