Re: Next contest.

How about a photo of the diver with the most stuff hanging off of them.  How deep did you guys go?  There is at least 4 tanks not including the one on your back.
Human beings were not meant to sit in little cubicles staring at computer screens all day, filling out useless forms and listening to eight different bosses drone on about about mission statements.

Re: Next contest.

John was carrying 3 stages for practice; the sign is at about 80'.  Those stage bottles and a dark-water background just make it look deep! Smile

For the dive to the Pipes last weekend, we used scooters.  John carried 3 stages and towed another scooter, just for practice.  I didn't get a shot of that since my camera was stowed for scootering.

I'm sure the rebreather-ers here will get a good laugh from all the gas he's carrying....

Roger, how deep are the pipes?  Also, out of curiosity why do you not wish to "disclose" the location of the sign?

Re: Next contest.

Lonnie -- The pipes are at about 85'.  You can find them by starting at the south boat launch, heading east along the shore until you get to the line that marks "The Crossing" (starts about 20', then crosses the lake bottom to Sherwood) and follow the line across the mud flats to the ledge at around 70'.  (It's a bit of a swim.)  These pipes are east along the ridge a little ways.  There are other pipes to the west, I think -- compass readings in this area are a bit "off".

I'm a bit worried about the sign getting "removed".  Some of our other things have been removed lately, and they weren't cheap. :'(

Ahh...yeah, some people do not like anything at all put into Wazee even if it doesn't harm anything.  I wonder if those individuals that feel that way will be so bold as to try and remove the boat that Wazee Sports is putting in...LOL!  Big Grin

Re: Next contest.
Jean, that may be an idea for a future contest.  This one is for best underwater metal object.  Now...if you have a picture of a metal object in a cave then by all means post it in this contest!  Wink
