Monthly pool session

Re:Monthly pool session
If I can make it I am considering bringing the drysuit. I just got it back from having the boots cut off and socks put on. I would like to take it for a spin with the rockboots before heading out of the ice. See how the air moves around the legs with the mods. Of course, I will probably just wear shorts under it. But then, the last class I helped with the pool was pretty frigid so heavy undies may not be out of line.

If I can make it I don't need any tanks.

Map to Blackhawk for Saturday
WOW, Saturday should be a blast!!! Everything from drysuits to full-face masks and from PADI to DIR. To quote a friend, "Ain't it wonderful!"

How about a burger and a beer after the "dive"?

Oh, and a BIG THANKS! to Skruff, who had the pool idea and started this whole thread.

Re:Monthly pool session
Dan, I may be able to make it Saturday too. If I can, which is "probable" at this point, I would be bringing my own tank. I'll be wearing the top half of my 7 mil suit. Not quite as warm as Chris...LOL! Big Grin

Re:Monthly pool session
DanL,

Put me down as a tentative. I'll be in the cities but due to circumstances may not be able to make it to the pool, but I'm hoping. If I don't make it to the pool I'd enjoy getting together with everyone if they're going to do lunch or social hour afterwards. I'm looking forward to eventually putting faces to names and names to nick-names.

I will need 1 tank and a b.c. Am I to understand that these will be available for rent or use at the site or do I need to chase the b.c. and tank down?

I'll load up all my freediving stuff too, for show and tell (maybe a little swimmin' too. Maybe someone could fit into my extra 3 mil suit and avoid the 6.5's or 7s. I have a bunch of family el cheapo 3mil 3/4 suits and full suits in all different sizes that we've used for waterskiing and jetski riding. I'll bring 'em... maybe they'll fit someone and they could use those instead of their good suits or 6.5's or 7's in the pool. No problem to toss 'em in anyway.
