I use suunto as well and haven't had any trouble with temp.

watch is Citizen.  hadn't had any issues with this one before, but had some issues with prior one (before it flooded) not recording if it was in the BC pocket.  haven't had issues with either one except when putting them in the pocket.
Some people are like Slinkeys - not much good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs!

Tullibee,

I have two different Citizen watches that I use as a back up to my computer. When wearing my drysuit I put one in my B.C. pocket because it doesn't fit well over the drysuit. I have never had an issue with them not working. I am not saying that is not the cause of yours malfunctioning, just that I have done the same without problems.
