There is also camping right in the city of Crosby. As far as trailers, I have seen 40' class A's at Hopkins and Mangan.
Also related to the Aqua-venture weekend there is also registration so don/t think you cant participate  if your not registered.

The Camp Ground is officially closed that that time of the year.  MSD rents the entire camp ground out from the State for Dive Fest.  The state makes them have special liability insurance.  That is part of what you are paying for in the registrations fees for Dive Fest. 

That being said Dive Fest is a blast and I highly recommend it!  Lots of good music, diving, prizes and people!

Eddy - it is Aquaventure Dive & Photo Center, there is a new post to chat about it. Smile

So the Crosby dive site is officially closed?... please clarify.

That is just peachy.  It would be nice if they would post something here with all the information like:  What registration fees are, and how much they are going to be charging(soaking) for campsites through them.  Unless I missed it, I don't see any info posted at all about Dive Fest.

Angie, so what was the dive shop you are doing the AOW cert. with expect you to do?Sleep in your car.

Well we need a new game plan, with some concrete info.

Where to stay, when to get there, how much it costs, and what to bring.

It's through Fantasea Dive from Burnsville.  They are planning to bomb up there Sunday morning as far as I know.

I was planning on doing the same thing if no one wanted to come up for a dive.

If the campground is officially closed for the summer, we can camp elsewhere up there.

I just need to meet at the "Serpant Statue" whatever that is at 9:00 am Sunday

I am not at all familiar with what's what up there. This is the 1st time I will have actually been to the Crosby mine, sorry I cant be of more help...

Is that the Crosby sign at the end main? You turn left to go to the mines and the Holiday station?

                    Angie and Steve, its a green serpent statue in the main campground park in town (the town of Crosby) on the shores of beautiful Serpent Lake across from the Holiday Gas Station and a block towards Ironton from the Holiday, most people just meet at the Holiday, as its handy for loading up last min. supplies, its a good Mn based company and Master does their electric work.          TRINITY
