Re:Dry suit recommendations???
If you don't mind a shoulder entry suit, then the Diverite suit looks to be a great suit!

I can recommend the DiveRite suit. But then I have one so I am biased.

Re:Dry suit recommendations???
Question on the Dive Rite suits. Are they actually made by Dive Rite, or are they manufactered by someone else and Dive Rite just puts on their name? They (Dive Rite's 905) look very much like the Gates CBX-450, and Gates does claim to make suits for other companies. Just wondering.

Re:Dry suit recommendations???
The DR suits are made by Polar Diving Systems out of Finland. They also sell a suit called the 905 as well as a front zip version.

Polar also makes the Dacor Flyt Extreme suit. The difference between the DR and Dacor is that the DR has pockets, a warm neck collar, a zipper guard and I think bigger low abrasion areas. The Dacor comes with the collar attached. Oddly enough, when the DR came out it's MSRP, $1200, was less than the Dacor, $1400. It's a nicer suit. I have seen the Dacor at one of the stores here in town and I prefer the DR.

Re:Dry suit recommendations???
I just purchased a very slightly used DUI TLS350 drysuit with rock boots tonight. The suit fits me perfect. I can't wait to try it out! The only other drysuit I have tried before I bought the TLS was a DUI CF200X which was a decent suit too but it was real heavy and extremely slow to dry out after dives. I like the lighter weight of the TLS suit better and I'm sure it'll dry nice and fast and pack smaller. Smile

Congrats GP, Did you get it off the shelf or did you order the special fit?

I ordered the DUI CLx450 On Friday.

Re:Dry suit recommendations???
I got a stock XL from a shop in town. It was a rental suit only used on maybe a dozen dives. It's in near new condition and fits me great. Smile

Re:Dry suit recommendations???
With my waist at 38 and my inseam at 29 would have had plenty of leg room available.

I went witht the custom fit which included 2 pockets.
