No, I think most people here are more enlightened than that. As you say "I like the fact that you analyze every possible problem underwater and try to prevent them." Be they Dir/Gue or otherwise that seems to be the right thing to do.
I personally see the need to have the LPAL14 velcroed/removable (on the back tanks) much more than the AL6 (under the arm) but I like the idea of both being removable.
I dive with SDT even if I dip my toes in the dark waters.
